TND Listings has a strict policy: we do not list any under-construction project that is not registered with MahaRERA. This is non-negotiable. Every new project and developer we work with is verified on the MahaRERA portal before we present it to buyers.
MahaRERA portal: You can independently verify any Maharashtra developer or project at maharerait.mahaonline.gov.in. Always cross-check the RERA number the developer gives you.
What does RERA registration mean for you?
Possession date is legally binding
The developer must deliver by the registered completion date or pay you 10.05% interest on your investment for every month of delay.
No diversion of funds
Developers must deposit 70% of buyer funds in a separate RERA escrow account — they cannot use your money for another project.
Carpet area guarantee
RERA mandates carpet area (not super built-up area) to be the basis of sale. No hidden area inflation.
Defect liability
5-year defect liability period after possession. Any structural defects must be rectified by the developer free of charge.
Grievance redressal
Buyers can file complaints with the RERA authority and receive binding orders against developers within 60 days.
Transparent project info
All project details — plans, approvals, agent list, completion status — are publicly available on the MahaRERA portal.
How to verify a property on MahaRERA
- Visit maharerait.mahaonline.gov.in
- Click “Registration” → “Projects” and search by project name, developer name or RERA number.
- Confirm the project status is “Registered” and the completion date is in the future.
- Check the “Complaints” section to see if the developer has pending cases against them.
- Verify the agent showing you the property is also RERA-registered (all TND agents are).
