How much does NRI property management cost in Mumbai?

Who manages property in Mumbai for NRIs?

Can I rent out my Mumbai flat without coming to India?
Yes. TND finds and verifies the tenant, and the leave and licence agreement can be registered through Aadhaar-based e-registration with you signing from abroad, or through a Power of Attorney.
What TDS does my tenant deduct on rent paid to an NRI?
Rent paid to an NRI landlord attracts TDS under section 393 of the Income-tax Act, 2025 (formerly section 195), broadly 30% plus surcharge and cess. A lower or nil deduction certificate can reduce it. TND makes sure your tenant deducts and deposits TDS correctly. Confirm current rates with your CA, or try the TDS on rent calculator.
Will someone actually visit my flat?
Yes. Every property has a TND field agent in Mumbai. On TND Essentials the agent inspects the flat in person every 4 months, and every visit is logged with photos on the TND app.
Where does the rent go?
Tenants pay rent directly into your bank account. Each payment is tracked in the TND app with a receipt, so TND never sits between you and your rent.
Can you pay society maintenance and property tax while I am abroad?
Yes. TND tracks BMC property tax, society maintenance and utility due dates and pays them from your TND Wallet, with digital receipts uploaded to the app.
